Pastor's Report

Denn reported on his various activities since our last meeting.

A number of new families who have started attending both sites were mentioned.

Reports were presented from Pastor Stefan, Pastor Rob, and Pastor Marilyn.

Meeting Highlights

Recommendation for District Ministerial Licence

Lynn Violette joined our meeting and gave her testimony and her calling to music and youth ministry. She has asked for a recommendation from Cornerstone to the Atlantic District so she can pursue district licensing and preparation. Questions were asked and answered. The team expressed their appreciation to Lynn for her leadership. After Lynn was dismissed, a motion was made and approved to make the recommendation to the District.

Building Care

There was more discussion on having the painting in the lobby and worship centre completed by Easter. Denn presented a quote from Halifax House Painting. Denn mentioned that he was still pursuing additional quotes. It was moved for Denn to proceed with the best quote.

There was much discussion on the roofing and lighting, and more options will be presented at our next meeting and at our Annual Meeting in May/June. It was moved that we begin a one-year capital campaign for the project.
